I recently just came out of prison and I was homeless. Even though I got referred to a few housings before I left, Team A5 Support have been the only people to help me with a roof over my head. They housed me as soon as they found out my situation and I was given a place by them which is really good for me as I am trying to turn my life around. It was made clear to me about the support that would be provided, and they treat me with courtesy and respect. Whenever I needed support and asked for it, I received the support I needed it. The support services provided by Team A5 Support has had a positive experience on my life because I am able to have a place to rest my head and focus on myself and not get caught up with my past. I am grateful for Team A5 Support because I feel if I never got a place when I did, I could have easily gone back to the life of crime

When I was released from prison, I had nowhere to go and was referred by Pentonville Prison to Team A5 Support. I have alcohol problem and anger issues and coming to Team A5 Support, I have a stable accommodation, emotional support, help with my housing benefit claim, universal credit claim, support with GP registration. I get advice on matters affecting me and Team A5 make referrals to other agencies liaising with probation. Thanks to Team A5 Support, I got my life back on track and have started voluntary work. I do not have alcohol issues anymore and my anger is under control. Personally, Team A5 Support has been excellent with their support, I got a roof over my head, I was supported with my issues, I have not re-offended, I made new friendships in the household and finally I am working towards my independence. I was referred to Team A5 Support by a professional agency. Team A5 Support always helps me with advice and support, especially when I most need it. They respect me and are always willing to listen to me when I come to them with any concerns, problems, or issues. They inform me of any decisions or actions they were going to take, and the support worker helped me to understand the reasons for the decisions/actions. Team A5 Support is made up of amazing people and team. Being housed after 6 years of being homeless felt incredible and it felt good to have a place to call a home again

I have had bad experiences with landlords in the past and coming to Team A5 Support, I have experienced the complete opposite. I was referred to Team A5 Support by another professional agency and Team A5 Support housed me in a safe property with access to a support worker. The support services provided by Team A5 has had a positive experience on life and although Team A5 does not work with children or other members of my family, they have had a positive experience on the life of my children because they do not have to worry about my safety and wellbeing. Also, my family can see the work and support that is being done. I have built a good trust with Team A5 Support because my life was at a very low and trust is something that plays a big part in my life and to feel safe and to get the right help for my health, Team A5 Support has helped me. This is a support I thought I would never find; I hope it will continue.

Coming out of prison had been difficult for me because I did not know where to stay/live, what to do or what next step to take. When I met Team A5 Support, I was most helped with my settling in and my transition from prison. I get support when I most need it, I am listened to and involved in the planning of services and support beneficial to myself. I had been suffering from homelessness and after I was referred to Team A5 Support, my life has changed for good. Team A5 Support asks me about services that may help me and inform me about any decisions and/or actions that are taken to help me. The support worker helped me to understand the help that was and is being provided for me by Team A5 Support.

When I was released from prison I didn’t know what I was going to do. I felt lost. Then I went to Team A5 and met the team. I felt welcomed. They housed and have given me so much support and some time just phone up for a chat. Team A5 has an amazing support team.
